各位评委老师，大家好！我是应聘初中英语的三号考生，今天我要试讲的八年级下册第五单元第一课时If you go to the party, you will have a great time！！！！（板书题目）。 Unit 5 If you go to the party, you will have a great time！！！！Period 1 _Teaching Goals:

知识目标(knowledge goals)：

能正确运用if引导的条件状语从句；

技能目标(skill goals)：

能用if引导的条件状语从句作出假设，用will谈论结果，提高学生口语表达能力；

情感态度与价值观：

本课时围绕Party展开话题，贴近学生生活，符合他们热爱休闲的心理，可以提高他们学习英语的兴趣，积极参与英语实践活动；Important and difficult points:

① 一般将来时will / be going to 结构；

② If引导的条件状语从句；Teaching contents: SectionA1a;1b;1c;2a;2b;2c,grammar focus. Teaching procedures:

Step 1:

Greeting---Good morning, boys and girls / class. (Good morning, Miss XX.)---Nice to see you. (Nice to see you, too.)---How are you today?(Fine, thanks. And you?)---I’m fine too. Sit down, please. （Thank you!）

Step 2:

Warming up and Leading inToday, we will learn the new lesson—Unit 5 If you go to the party, you’ll have great time.Now, let us enjoy an English song together. If you are happy OK, let’s follow it. Great!Now, are you happy?--Yes. If I am happy, I will smile. If you are happy, what will you do?--If I am happy, I will watch TV/ play computer games/dance/sing a song… --No, If I am sad,I will cry. If you are sad, what will you do？--If I am sad, I will go hiking / go shopping / go to the zoo / go swimming… OK, this time, let’s read them. Ready Go! ( 可以通过Flash cards游戏来缓解课堂气氛，使课堂更加活跃。)

Step3: Presentation

①Wow, can you guess? (充满神秘感)What’s this in my hand? Dang dang dang dang…Look, what’s this? Yeah, they are money. Mm…If I have much money (拿实物), I will buy a big house. If you have much money, what will you do? Buy car / buy iphone / go shopping/ buy mother / travel around the world …

②OK, another thing. Can you guess again? Here is a picture. Look, it’s a party. This Sunday our school will organize a party. There are some people in it. If you go to the party, what will you do?(eg. If I go to the party, I’ll have a great time/sing some songs/dance/play games/eat some food...) Good job.

Step4: Practice

① Point out the picture, and then ask Ss to read the statements and responses in the first picture.

② Talk about other pictures, and ask the Ss to predict the consequences.

③ OK, this time pls open your book and turn to page 34. 1a look at the pictures. Then match the statements with responses below. Ok, let’s do some dictation exercise.

④ Page 34 1b Play the tape and get Ss to check their answers to activity 1a. (Do you find the answers? Who can tell me your answers?) Talk about the answers together.

⑤ Page 34 1c Ask two Ss to read the example in the sample in activity 1c; In pairs, get Ss to talk about what happened in the pictures; Ask some pairs to present their conversations to the class.

⑥ Page 35 2a&2b Read the instructions. Make sure the students know what to do Play the recording, Ss listen and write down their answers; Correct the answers.

⑦ Page 35 2c Ask two students to read the sample dialogue; In pairs, get the students to role play the conversation between Andrea and her friend; Ask a few pairs of students to practice their conversations for the class.
